£20,000 Basic Plus Bonus

Our client based in Dudley is looking for a Technical Sales Advisor to join their sales team, candidates must come from a technical sales product related background,be career minded and have a desire to progress and excel within the company.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, your duties will include:

  • Maintain current customer base
  • Increase sales by the introduction of new customers
  • Increase awareness of company products and service to potential customers
  • Gather competitor activity data
  • Gather market activity data
  • Achieve or exceed sales budget

Key Competencies

Our ideal candidate will preferably possess extensive technical sales and account management experience gained within the engineering sectors.

  • You will require a technical bias and possess a flare and an appetite to increase sales of technically biased products & equipment.
  • This role will focus heavily on increasing distributor sales and volume sector of the trade, therefore an ability to communicate at all levels from shop floor to board room are essential qualities.
  • Additionally our client seeks an individual equally balanced with a strong technical aptitude whilst also possessing solid commercial skills and an ability to influence managers, buyers, engineers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Continuous training and career prospects within the organisation are exceptional therefore this role will ideally suit technically biased sales candidates looking to move into a global manufacturing environment.
